Message-ID: <5160004@hplsla.HP.COM> Date: Wed, 18-Nov-87 21:30:40 EST Article-I.D.: hplsla.5160004 Posted: Wed Nov 18 21:30:40 1987 Date-Received: Sat, 21-Nov-87 12:48:02 EST Organization: HP Lake Stevens, WA Lines: 19 I recently got a copy of WordPerfect, which exhibits an interesting defect while printing. Has anyone else come across this? If you have WP and can try it easily, I'd like your feedback (like, is it printer/printer driver dependent?) When I print something like This is _a test. (where there is a single letter underlined, in case the underline doesn't show up on your monitor [its under the "a"]), the line prints, the print head backs up to the "a" and underlines it, and continues underlining -- and underlining -- and underlining -- and -- but you get the picture. This is with a Centronics-port-driven Dynax DX-15, standard WP driver for it, using standard Font 1. Underlining two or more adjacent characters seems to work fine.
