Uh, no. They missed one.

The Atari ST-1556-j Printer cable allows virtually ANY model of Epson
printer to be connected directly to the serial port of all ST model
computers.

available as an upgrade to 1040ST owners, but technical infeasabilities
prevented this. It is now finally available as an extra cost item
from both Atari dealers for $49.95.

Unfortunatly, last minute technical changes prevent this cable from
being used on any color model of Epson printer.
