Perhaps some news to Commodore for a change. I just tested the ACORN RISC development board with a 3Com Ethernet board on the Bridgecard side of the A2000 bus. It works flawlessly. The Bridgecard acts as an I/O controller for the Ethernet and screen/keyboard. This a very nice arrangement. The ACORN screems, and barely bothers the Amiga side at all. As I mentioned previously, I also have NFS on the Amiga side of the Bridgecard. I had to rape an IBM pc to try this out, since we are still waiting for more ACORN boards (like mine). When I do get my board, I will have two Ethernet hoses going into the A2000. I shudder to think what I could with this! This is getting strange. Now I know why this is called Janus. Now if I could just adapt Matt's shell to talk amiga/unix to the IBM... -- Work: Computer Consoles Inc. (CCI), Advanced Development Group (ADG) Irvine, CA (RISCy business!
