First I zapped one of my ports with a static spark. The Amiga wouldn't boot. So I swapped the 8520s. Then it would boot, but I had the above problem. I lived with it until a new 8520 came in and I replaced it. I can't remember if it was the parallel or serial 8520. The strange thing is that both ports still worked.
