I tried to at least acknowledge all messages received, but there seems to be an unreliable mailer somewhere... One reply said "you ought to consider Hewlett-Packard as an alternative". So I approached H-P sales, who offered what seems to be a very attractive deal on maintenance. (and their hardware seems comparable in price with SUN). Please does anybody wish to tell me their experience with H-P? Well, I suppose this really ought to go to a H-P users list; but I cannot find one. Thankyou, Mark.
