I bought one two months ago.  Last week I got a letter from them saying that
they are completely up to their ears with orders, and that I am on the
waiting list to get mine.  (I also got back my canceled check.)

From what I've read, the Zip Chip does work.  I'd really like to see mine
work some time, though.
