There was an article in Compute! (I believe) that discussed the encoding scheme used on the earlier Infocoms (Zorks in particular). It was about 2 years ago (October or Sept. Issue for sure but the year is a bit vague). Ill look it up tonight and send an accurate reference tomm but those of you who have lots of backissues can check for yourselves. Bruce
