Regarding file transfers from the Mac back to Apple 3.5" disks, there
is an official Apple package for the Mac called Apple File Interchange
(formerly called Interfile and Passport) which will read 3.5" disks
in ProDos format and do some conversions.
  I have Passport (alpha release) and it works.
