I received two replies (from Larry Virden and Dave Lyons). Neither of them knew of any other C compilers currently in existence. The seems to be a pattern here. Remember how long it took to get other word processors for the Mac? Blame was placed on Apple for having MacWrite available. Apple hasn't released a Pascal compiler for the IIgs, and we have two (maybe three) third-party Pascals. Apple did release a C compiler, and no one else has. Were they all scared off? Or don't they think the gs market demand for a second C compiler is there? I find this to be quite discouraging. Lester McCann University of Wisconsin CS Dept. mccann@primost.cs.wisc.edu
