The only software I have (besides BASIC and LOGO) is 1st Word of about the same vintage (I'd like to update that too, but I didn't get it through a dealer). SO, Does it make sense for me to upgrade my system (which I intend to use mostly for word processing, UNIX terminal, and maybe a little (monochrome) drawing)? How much will it cost to get TOS/GEM in ROMs and does anyone know of trustworthy dealers in the Monmouth Country NJ area? I've seen a fair amount of anxiety about the future of Atari expressed in this group so I'm wondering whether it makes sense to put any more money into the system I have or chalk it up to experience and go buy a PC-clone.
