[a line to be eaten] Here's a question to the CAD 3D owners out there... I don't have CAD 3D yet, and while I am interested in getting it eventually, right now I'm more interested in getting objects created with it--I'm working on a system here at my school with some really wonderful graphics hardware but virtually no pre-drawn objects, and a pretty crummy CAD program. What I'd like to do is take object files from CAD 3D and run them through a converter to convert them to the file format my system needs. Here's the question: does anyone have info (or does the CAD 3D documentation) on the format of CAD3D files? Question two: does anybody know where libraries of CAD 3D objects (preferably PD) can be had? I'd really appreciate this information. Scott Udell UD140469@NDSUVM1.BITNET P.S. I'd be interested in getting objects from any other 3D wireframe CAD programs out there (along with file/object formats), so if you have the info (even if it's not on an ST), I'd really like to hear from you.
