Happy to report that they appear to work just fine! The first things I noticed were a *substantial* decrease in time required to boot, because the time it takes the machine to clear out memory is now much less. Hmm, makes that extra meg seem much more tempting ;-) Overall disk performance seems to have a good boost. I ran TINYPICS from my Supra disk, and it was noticeably faster at switching pictures. The only copy protected thing I currently own is Chessmaster 2000, and I haven't given that a whirl as yet.
