It gives the most bang for the buck. However, since it's a 24 pin printer I have a new dilemma. Does there exist publishing software (STwriter, 1STword, or whatever) that handles Epson LQ or IBM 5152 Graphics Printer modes? I'm new at this and I may not know what I'm talking about. I'm about to buy a Seikosha SL-80AI printer that emulates Epson FX, Epson LQ, or IBM 5152 Graphics Printer modes. Since this is a 24 pin printer, I'd like to use Epson LQ or the IBM Graphics modes with my 1040ST. If bad came to worse, I think I could hack something up but I'd prefer to use a professional program if it had spelling checkers and a thesaurus. I don't want to spend 300 dollars on a printer only to find I'll be doing 3 months of software development just to print "hello world". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
