I use kermit....it has file transfer (which work over ISN) and the
program doesn't have a bug.  the terminal program async_main doesn't
work well if you have a long line an row 24 col 79 then type one more
char.  the cur says there.  One program I use on the  VAX, which
is screen(1) (allows mulitple shells) has problems with this, in that
it thinks that the screen should have scrolled but it didn't.

the kermit I have can use the internal mode as well.
