No other boards are installed and both floppy drives are in the system. The ROMs are marked version 1.00 and I run DOS version 2.11. It has come time to upgrade both of these, and I have a few questions: 1) I believe the current ROM version is 1.43. Is this correct? 2) Do the new ROMs change the function of the dipswitches or anything else of which I should be aware? 3) What (and I figure this to be subject to opinion!) is the best DOS version to use? Note that I would prefer to stick with an AT&T release, rather that a generic version. 4) I don't mind, and would prefer, to completely backup my hard disk, reformat with the new DOS, and then restore from the backup. Will the new DOS's RESTORE read 2.11's BACKUP? 5) What else should I know? Some of these questions may get answered by the arrival of the AT&T catalog I requested recently, but until then, I thought I would ask. PLEASE use e-mail, and I will summarize.
