By whatever name it goes (TERM 80, TERM.PLUS, or VT52), the C64 terminal
emulator which emulates a 25-line VT52, handles all ASCII characters, and has
an optional 80 column screen invoked by CTRL-8 absolutely *is* in the public
domain.  It was distributed by Commodore with my permission.
