Does anyone know what equipment is needed and the approximate cost of setting up a network of about 10 terminals and PC's (or if it is possible)? Here is a rough list that I have compiled (through very little research): Ethernet to Q-bus Controller $ 1,975 DECQNA cabinet kit for MicroPDP-11 150 8-Line DECserver 100 2,950 DECserver Software License 150 Also, is it possible to hook up the PC's driectly into the Ethernet (by buying the equip. from DEC)? And is there any way for the PC's to use the PDP-11 as a transparent file-server? Also, what is the maximum number of terminals (or PC's) that can be connected to this network? (By the way... The MicroPDP-11 is running Micro/RSX.) Thanks for any help, Michael Niehaus ...!{pur-ee,iuvax}!bsu-cs!mithomas
