Is it just a worthless upgrade designed to make DEC some more money off a machine it has abandoned like the 190 upgrade for the Rainbow?? Also, what are the advantages/disadvantages of running P/OS versus Xenix?? Lastly, how difficult is it to upgrade from a 10-meg drive to the 20-meg Seagate ST225 like I did on my Rainbow?? Are there any PD formatting utilities that will work on it?? (By the way, the ST225 is IDENTICAL to the RD31 DEC is selling). I just need to know if the controller and the software can handle it.
