I've used COPYWRITE very successfully over the years. Quaid always has a liberal upgrade policy (they release every month, and you can get an upgrade for $18). They have a couple of techniques beside just disk-copying for breaking the protection (like a memory resident program that intercepts suspicious disk accesses and creates a clean executable).
