The points are contained within a 2d mesh that can be assigned in any manor that is appropriate. If any one would like this routine I will mail a copy out. If there is enough requests I will post the routines. It was designed to do contours on non-orthogonal meshes. But can be adapted to do random spreads if and only if the mesh that the random points are located is defined correctly. ===================================== ^ ================================= Edward L.
