These things and more can be yours if... you get a hold of a 'real'
Hercules card user's manual. 
I have one, and could probably be persuaded to post some details,
but please check if you can find one yourself first.  Also, I haven't
actually done any Hercules programming and can't supply sample code.
(Perhaps someone out there can, and make it easy for all of us...?)
