I'm trying to upgrade my xt-clone with 20MB drive and 2MB-EMS to a 386 system. Does anyone have any experience with the following: Hauppage 386 xt replacement, ATI 386 Any other 386 system you may have access to? I have read the reviews in PC-world, PC-MAG, BYTE, and they appear to be too superficial. I guess what I have to know is: Availability of expansion boards (eg: memory, it appears that Hauppage make their own memory boards, with the dangers of single sourcing, I'd be very hesitant in buying their MB) Speed, and if a good hard disk (<30msec) will work. Software compatibility (minor issue) Please E-Mail to me so that people don't get mad. I'll summarize for the net if there is enough interest. -- ...........................................
