Is there any good reason why many of the OS-9/68K utilities which
can  handle  a list  of files  choke  when  the list  includes  a
subdirectory?  This usually happens when the list is generated by
the shell  expanding  a wildcard.   Routines  which  fail include
GREP, LIST, PR, and several others.  GREP is the one I would most
like to ignore subdirectories so that it would be simpler to look
for a text string in all files in a subdirectory.
