Message-ID: <11540035@hpsmtc1.HP.COM> Date: Tue, 3-Nov-87 12:02:02 EST Article-I.D.: hpsmtc1.11540035 Posted: Tue Nov 3 12:02:02 1987 Date-Received: Sat, 7-Nov-87 08:20:06 EST Organization: Hewlett Packard, Cupertino Lines: 21 My sincerest apologies if this has been covered before, but if it was, I didn't see it. I just got my MacII :-) :-) :-), and have finder v5.5 on it. The problem I am having is setting the startup application on a floppy. It don't work! If I try to "set startup" to anything other than the finder (the minifinder won't even work), then when I try and boot from that disc, it smiles, then spits it out. My version of hypercard works fine (it boots up and starts hypercard), and if I copy it's system folder to another disc, that disc will boot hypercard. If I try to "set startup" to hypercard myself, thought, it doesn't do it! Is my Mac braindamaged? Am I? Is my Finder/System? Thanks in advance for any advice you can give. -------------------- Ken Wallich *My views are mine, and mine alone* Consultant "Camelot!
