In two cases disks that were initialized on the old 400k drives when inserted in my SE didn't work at all, but were savable with MacZap. MacZap indicated that the allocation tables had been trashed. However, this same diskette worked perfectly well on another's SE. More recently, a file on a diskette that worked on my SE and another's was unopenable on a third person's SE; it showed a checksum error under Fedit +. Has anyone else experienced such problems? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ...{bbncca,decvax,dual,rocksvax,watmath,sbcs}!sunybcs!cohen CSNET: cohen@Buffalo.CSNET ARPANET: cohen%Buffalo@csnet-relay.ARPA BITNET: cohen@sunybcs.BITNET GEnie: AJCOHEN --==>>Alex Cohen<<==-- ------------------------------------------------------------------------
