Message-ID: <252@aplcen.UUCP> Date: Tue, 10-Nov-87 13:42:12 EST Article-I.D.: aplcen.252 Posted: Tue Nov 10 13:42:12 1987 Date-Received: Fri, 13-Nov-87 03:51:25 EST Organization: Johns Hopkins Univ. APL Center, Laurel, MD Lines: 18 There are a few interactions on the Mac between the finder and application programs that still grate on me: (1) select several files belonging to one application (e.g. MacWrite), and then choose "Print" from the "File" menu -- there's no way (I am aware of) to predict the order that the files will be passed to MacWrite for processing; (2) as above, select several files for printing: MacWrite puts up the standard dialog box to allow you to set the number of copies, percent enlargement, ... the problem is that your specifications only get applied to the first file processed (at least only the first file produces multiple copies if you are trying for two copies of everything...) MacWrite 4.767 anyone? -Paul McMullin prm@aplvax.arpa ...{mimsy,decuac}!aplcen!prm -- Paul R. McMullin
