Message-ID: <2229@sputnik.COM> Date: Wed, 11-Nov-87 13:50:59 EST Article-I.D.: sputnik.2229 Posted: Wed Nov 11 13:50:59 1987 Date-Received: Fri, 13-Nov-87 23:46:06 EST Sender: news@tc.fluke.COM Reply-To: moriarty@tc.fluke.COM (Jeff Meyer) Organization: John Fluke Mfg. Co., Inc., Everett, WA Lines: 24 Keywords: MultiFinder, Finder, Disktop 3.0, Search, Suitcase Summary: It blows up REAL good! I just upgraded from DiskTop 2.0 to 3.0 because it has the world's bestest file search option (search by file TYPE, CREATOR, modicification or creation dates, name -- or any combination thereof. Yowsah!). And I've upgraded to MultiFinder -- the one that came to Developers (MF 1.0/Finder 6.0/System 4.2 (SIDE NOTE: I still haven't seen it at Apple Dealers -- for all I know they'll release a newer version)). Well, problems. Everytime it reaches the end of a search under MultiFinder -- boom, a bomb. It has also done this occasionally under Finder, but not always. Oh, yeah, and I'm using Suitcase. And running QuicKeys. That should complicate things. All I ask -- has anyone else had these problems? Or am I cursed? "What's G. Gordon Liddy doing in the living room, putting the moves on Mom?"
