Afterall I was under the impression that Apple and Jasmine used the >same manufacturer for the drives. I had the same problem using an Easy Drive 80 from DCC Systems. It also uses a Quantum drive (same as Apple and Jasmine). Apparently the DCC drive (and probably the Jasmines) used Quantums with generic SCSI drivers in the drive ROMs, whereas Apple drives have a customized version of the ROMs. This is what I was told by DCC Systems anyway.
