Okay, does someone want to tell me what's going on here?  *Why* would you want
to use _Apple's_ formatter program on your non-Apple drive?  Don't Jasmine
and DCC drives come with their own manager programs?  Or are Jasmine's and
DCC's drivers so buggy that they're unusable :-)
