The disk hardware seems to be identical to Apple's own 80MB internal disk. I have had no problems in the two weeks I have owned it and it sure seems fast, but I have no experience with other Mac II disks. Installation was easy if you know how to use a screwdriver and attach connectors. I bought it for $1219 from CDA Computer Sales. I ordered via the telephone and I had the disk in my hot little hands in less than 24 hours. I found them in the back of Mac World. I requested UPS Red Label shipping which cost $24. They were very professional and I would use them again. I'm not affiliated with them, other than being a customer blah blah etc. CDA Computer Sales P.O.
