(Whatever they call it these days.) One of the appendices (E, I think) near the back of the book shows how to generate accented characters. Or bring up the Keycaps DA, press "option" and see what interesting accent-like characters appear. Try typing "option-" followed by a letter and see what happens. (I do an occasional newsletter in Spanish, so I went and read my manual to find out how to do it.) seh
