Thanks to Antonio Leal, David Fry, and to anyone else who has
posted or replied to me concerning this question.  The answer is:

	Select Kermit and then `Get Info.'  The default
	memory buffer of 384K can be changed there.

It was suggested that I use 160K, which I will try.
