Is there a way to allow HyperTalk programs to invoke functions in an external C program and rapidly pass data between a HyperTalk program and a C program? I am interested in whether HyperTalk can be used to create a user interface for an existing application. The users could then modify this user interface without being give source code to the main part of the application. Is this feasible? I've checked through the documentation that comes with HyperCard and a third-party reference book, but I haven't seen anything that looks like what I want. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks.
