Using FORTRAN on an IRIS 2500T running version 3.0,

     call backfa(.true.) 

causes backfacing polygons created by pclos(), spclos(),
and polf() to be discarded, but not those created by poly().
This seems to be inconsistent.  Is there available a version
of poly() which pays attention to backfa()?
