A company I used to work for makes a radio-clock which eliminates
most stupid DST problems.  The clock receives WWV and WWVH time
broadcasts from the U.S. National Bureau of Standards.  The broad-
casts give the time and the status of Daylight Savings Time,
according to Federal law.  (Local DST variations are not covered.)
The clock makes these data available through an RS-232 port to
