XT turbo 2 floppies, a 20 meg hard, running msdos 3.2.. The tag on it says z158-12. The manual that was given to me does not even come close to describing the mother board that I have. All jumpers,pictures etc are different. SO...... On the mother board there is 27 sockets for ram chips. I have installed all 27 sockets with 256k chips and can only increase my memory to 396k. I have moved every conceivable jumper around to try and get some increase, but to no avail. I have talked to heathkit, and they seem no help. I am also on their waiting list for the z158 technical manual set, and I've been waiting 4 months now. {Apparently benton-harbor{sp !} is still developing it}. Does any one know what is going on.... Is it a ROM CHANGE.... Is the board REALLY unable to handle it ..... rgrds, al {thank you }
