A friend is trying to use unix and vt220s with extended character sets
for use with forign languages.  Does any know of a termcap entry which
will allow 8 bit characters and possibly down loading of the character
set to be used?  Will there be any problem with vi working with 8 bit
characters?  He does not just want a termcap entry which will make a
vt220 work as a vt100.  Thanks in advance.  johnh...
