The home system is a unix-pc without a printer. In browsing through the dvi source files I have come across a list of printers: Postscript, Canon, Impress, HPJetPlus, HPLaserJet, DECLN03, DECLA75, AppleImageWriter, MPISPrinter, Okidata 2410, Printronix, and Toshiba P-1351. My hope is to find a reliable 24 pin printer that can do TeX work. I am not sure, but I think the last printer (the P-1351) is a 24 pin 180x180 dpi printer. A warning is posted in the source code, however, stating that this printer doesn't align cell blocks very well and the output is marginal at best. If *anyone* has experience or advice on acquiring a home (cheap) TeX output device--preferably a parrallel device--please let me know. Since I don't normally read this newsgroup I would appreciate it if you would mail directly to me, I'll summarize if enough interest is shown. Thanks: John Campbell ....!arizona!naucse!jdc PS I'm about to join TeXhax Unix--sure send me a dozen, all different colors.
