There is a company in Madison WI which deals directly with foriegn/scientific
characters of all types.  They have 2 products:

1.  Full blown word processor.  Good for editing real scientific type
    papers.  Doesn't compare to MS-word, WP or VW in regular tasks
    (although it is usable).

2.  TSR type program which works with most of the popular word
    processors.  It sits between your keyboard and your screen, as well
    as between your computer and your printer.  Does all the
    interpretation you can think of allowing you to see the chars on
    the screen (ROM needed if you don't have a graphics board).  Works
    with all the popular hardware (video/printers).
