Rand) Organization: North Dakota State University Fargo, ND Lines: 12 We have a PDP 11/44 running 2.9BSD from 11/83. I have read some about 2.10BSD on the net and have sent away for my packet from Usenix. My question is what is different (and I hope better) from 2.9BSD. Rumor has it that no PO's are allowed, a strictly cash basis. One of the things that I have long wanted to do is connect our putt-putt (a pet name for the PDP) to a VAX 11/785 running VMS 4.6 (yuck!). I would love to hear any comments from you folks that already have 2.10 and are impressed/dissatified/indefferent to it. Thanks in advance...
