I am looking for information regarding products that
can act as callable interfaces to screen-based applications.

I am constructing a utility which is going to need to
log into various applications that use screen formats
to accept and display data.  I need an interface that can
perform the screen transactions, using data I provide
and return data from fields which interest me.

The applications involved are mostly asynch, but there 
may be some bisynch also (I could probably convert the
bisynch to asynch with a protocol convertor).
