But to my horror, it just happens that the first article in that newsgroup is a *diff* listing. Now, tell me a) what is a sparkling new user going to do with a diff listing? b) what is a less bubbly user going to think about the relevance about what is posted there? Pretty please, lets get diff listings out of news,announce.newusers (post the diffs to news.sysadmin if there is a market there -- what it is the market for these diffs anyway?)
