This is an announcement for the posting of a paper titled

	USENET: An Examination of the Social and Political Processes
	of a Cooperative Computer/Communications Network Under the 
	Stress of Rapid Growth

A draft version of this paper was briefly introduced at the last Usenix
symposium, and few copies were handed out. We have received some
feedback, and now we are ready to make the paper available to the USENET
community for their commentary, flames, suggestions for further research
etc.

Sometime between Nov. 26-30, an introductory note plus two copies of this
paper [one pre-formatted for dumb printers, and one in TeX source form]
will be posted, probably to these newsgroups. If there is a better place to
post this paper under news subgroups, please let us know.
