Hao's disk problems have proved to be contagious through news links!

Oddjob has been and will be up and down for a while due to troubles
with an SI 9761.  (Irrelevant flame: SI refuses to sell us
maintenance on the drives they sold us in January.  When we bought
them the sleasman assured me that they were from a batch after the
famous medium defects were corrected.)
