Recently we had the unpleasant experience of having the uucp link to our
newsfeed go down for 3 days.  When we finally got through again, the spooled
news batches started coming through.  After the smoke cleared, we had received
4028 new articles that one day!  Unbatching the 47 files (~50K each) took over
4 hours!  Thank God we unbatch news at 3:00 am...
