        Well, that prophesy has already been forestalled: Compaq has released
3.31, a maintenance release to allow 512 Megabyte hard drives to be used as
one volume (this I don't understand: if they use 32 bits for the block numbers
wouldn't the max be 2 Gb??  Unless they use the high bits as flags or some-
thing)...
