We are talking about using company funds/facilities/time for a party which promotes one religion over others. Why are people getting so damn bent out of shape at changing the name of a stinking party? Is it that somehow the word *christmas* has so much significance to them that they have to have it said in relation to workplace parties? I really don't understand why including onon-christians in office celebrations (and giving *their* holidays a bit of validity as well) is such a big deal to you. Oh, and by the way.
