Could anyone recommend reading material on the architectural issues that
have been discussed recently in comp.arch, particularly the RISC stuff?
I don't really understand all this stuff about double-clocked, whatever.
I'm really looking for a text that might be used for a first graduate class
in architectures or something of that level.  I'm not up for slogging
through the research papers.
