When using Fortran-Mode under Unix 4.3BSD on a Vax 11/780
under GNU Emacs 18.47.2 there is a bug:

When in Overwrite mode, the characters work fine but
the numerics are still in Insert-Mode.
This is probably due to a bug in fortran-electric-line-number.
