Of course they are. Tell you what: everybody grep for the identifier "noalias" in your pre-existing C source code and mail me a count of the number of occurrences, if greater than 0. I'll post a summary, if there are any such occurrences reported. (Obviously I doubt that this particular keyword is used in a non-negligible amount of existing code.)
